Signs and Wonders
American Sign Language has become an important part of the world today. Signs & Wonders, which centers around dramatic signing, is part of the music ministry of First Pentecostal Church. It consists of a team of young people, under the direction of Sis. Doreen Cantrell (our pastor's wife), Sis. Vanessa Romero and Sis. Debra Paine. The directors work faithfully at choosing the music, teaching the signs and incorporating drama and expression into each piece.
Signs & Wonders performs a variety of musical pieces in sign language at times using blacklight & white gloves. Their ministry is a combination of sign language to music with dramatic presentation. They have been a blessing to the worship services of the local church and have been blessed to be invited to minister at Youth Camps, Youth Conventions, Sectional events, Music Conferences, the Conference of Drama Evangelism and much more.
